Iran website heralding 'Mahdi' by springtime
State media: Shiite messiah to kill archenemy in Jerusalem, may arrive during next equinox

An official state media website in Iran has posted a message heralding the coming of the Shiite messianic figure, Imam Mahdi, noting he could arrive with Jesus by the spring equinox.
"Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) will appear all of a sudden on the world scene with a voice from the skies announcing his reappearance at the holy Ka'ba in Mecca," the message says.
The Islamic Republic of Iran broadcasting website said in a program called "The World toward Illumination," that the Mahdi will form an army to defeat the enemies of Islam in a series of apocalyptic battles, in which the Mahdi will overcome his archvillain in Jerusalem.
The Mahdi's far sightedness and firmness in the face of mischievous elements will strike awe. After his uprising from Mecca all of Arabia will be submit to him and then other parts of the world as he marches upon Iraq and established his seat of global government in the city of Kufa.
Then the Imam will send 10 thousand of his forces to the east and west to uproot the oppressors. At this time God will facilitate things for him and lands will come under his control one after the other. ...
After his appearance the Imam would remain in Mecca for some time, and then go to Medina. ... a descendant of the Prophet's archenemy Abu Sofyan will seize Syria and attack Iraq and the Hejaz with the ferocity of a beast ... finally Imam Mahdi sends troops who kill the Sofyani in Beit ol-Moqaddas (Jerusalem), the Islamic holy city in Palestine that is currently under occupation of the Zionists.
Personal note: This is not the Saviour of the world but the Antichrist! How similar to the Antichrist as prophesied in the bible & the 7 year apocalypse. I think as i have mentioned before that 2007 is indeed a prophetic year. They said their saviour Mahdi is coming by spring & I think the rapture is going to happen soon. I hope everybody can make it but if I can't or anyone who isn't a Christian can't, we might have to face persecution & beheading by satanic followers of the Mahdi. Unless we cave in which I won't bcos what profit does a man get if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul? I ask everyone to take note of this important development & ask everyone to repent if possible. I wonder if i can make it also, if i am worthy enough. I just pray for God's mercy. Next on the horizon is Gog-Magog war. It's amazing that Iran is playing center stage now with all the announcements of Mahdi, destruction of Israel & enemies, nukes, allies forming as prophesied in the bible with Russia & Iran being the head of the satanic coalition, etc etc. 2007! Yes, I look forward to it with excitement & dread at the same time. Excitement bcos I can get to be raptured. Dread bcos what if I get left behind. Yes indeed, we need to keep an eye on Iran, Russia and Central Asia in regards to the prophecies about God and Magog. Over the next few years we should see how our fallible understandings about these definite future events line up with what really takes place. For example, I think that the Mahdi will be the King of the South mentioned in Daniel 11. Meanwhile, we need to remain constant at watch and in prayer. Antichrist is probably already among us in the West, and we may not recognize him because of lack of concern expecting the Rapture to remove us before he begins to come on stage. I presume you are a posttribber if i am not wrong but pls forgive me if i am wrong. I don't quite agree that pretribbers are not looking out for the Antichrist. As I am also a pretribber, I also collect & analyse news about any possible antichrist. This article is one eg. In fact, many pretribbers are heavily following the current news & prophesying the end to come or speculating who might be the Antichrist. Bcos we won't know for sure until the rapture happens & Christians are removed from earth, leaving behind those who aren't ready, to face the Antichrist. Only those who aren't Christians are deceived. True Christians cannot be deceived even if there is no rapture.
