Turkey won't make it into EU

'Turkey Prepared for any Scenarios in EU Talks'

Turkey's Chief EU negotiator Ali Babacan said that the worst-case scenario in relations with the European Union was unlikely to happen, adding that Turkey was prepared for all types of outcomes on EU accession talks.

Babacan assessed the situation regarding the relations with the European Union and the last improvements in economy last night on Turkish Samanyolu TV.

He said that Turkey was prepared for all kinds of scenarios regarding the future of Turkey’s accession talks, reiterating that Turkey won’t take unilateral steps on the Cyprus discord.

Stating that Turkey will continue negotiations for the Cyprus deadlock until the last moment, he explained that the European Union was both the player and the referee in the Cyprus game. “The best solution for the issue is at the United Nations,” he added.

They can try to negotiate till the cows come home but they won't be able to have a breakthru. Cos I don't think they will relent on the Cyprus issue. Altho I wish for a peaceful & friendly resolution to this, as much as i wish for peace, there won't be any resolution. Watch and see.
