Psalm 37 (Part 1)-Do not fret bcos of evildoers.
Dear brethren,
I encourage all of you to read Psalm 37. It will greatly encourage & strengthen us if we read it. “Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:1-4. The above few verses encourage us not to fret or be envious of evil people who keep on persecuting & bullying us for no reason. They shall soon be destroyed by God Himself & die a terrible death. Keep trusting Christ Jesus bcos who can we trust then when people around us refuse to wake up their ideas & repent? All the world look up to is money, success, prosperity, fame, power, career, degrees after degrees etc. So those who can’t keep up are looked down on. Then who is going to do the lower rung jobs – foreign “talent”? Can the head do without the legs or anus? Then how are we going to walk or shit? The whole body will collapse under the weight of the head & destroyed by toxins in it. So what good will be the head then? IT IS FIT ONLY TO BE CUT OFF & BURIED OR CREMATED! GOD BLESS THE HEAD THEN.
We are told to delight ourselves in the LORD, and He shall give us the desires of our hearts. Do we desire to be delivered from our enemies? Do we desire to see God redress our grievances & judge our enemies? God is giving these people plenty of time & grace, & if they still don’t repent & still insist on bullying God’s people, the plagues will come. Remember Moses & the Israelite slaves & how God delivered them? How God sent the ten plagues & finally consumed the whole armoured division of the pharaoh? From that time onwards, Egypt started to decline as a military power. You can check history for this. The Jews did no wrong & helped Egypt to prosper greatly. Prob some of the pyramids were built by these slaves. So what did the world do to these good people? The world returned evil for good! The world was ungrateful & severely oppressed them while they live in luxury & pleasure. BUT GOD IS GOOD & RIGHTEOUS! GOD WILL NOT LET HIS CHILDREN SUFFER FOR LONG! CHRIST JESUS CAME INTO THIS WORLD SPECIFICALLY FOR THE CHRISTIANS WHO BELIEVE. “FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON SO THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.” JOHN 3:16. Even if some do die under oppression, they are released from their labours & go to heaven to receive rest & rewards. CHRIST JESUS IS COMING TO JUDGE THE EARTH VERY SOON! LIFT UP YOUR HEADS TO THE COMING KING FOR OUR REDEMPTION DRAWS NIGH! THE WORLD WILL MOURN THEN & BE UTTERLY CONSUMED BY THE BRIGHTNESS OF HIS GLORY.
Every hypocrite & coward will be exposed on that Day of the Lord. Every bully & persecutor will be exposed for who they really are. Their consciences will condemn them. Their cursing will not help them. They can’t claim ignorance or accuse us of any sin bcos Christ died for all our sins & His blood cleanses us. They can’t tell God they have done this good deed or that bcos who is so holy they have no sin? God gave these people lots of chances & even helped them achieve success. But pride got to their heads & being successful, they oppress the unsuccessful & underprivileged. GOD WILL SURELY JUDGE THEM & THEY WILL SPEND ETERNITY IN HELL BURNING! Keep doing good & trust His faithfulness. He will provide what we need. May God deliver us soon! Amen! God bless you all!
