Damascus soon to be destroyed

Bible prophecy is about to come true again. Damascus in Syria is going to be obliterated. The Syrians are planning war with Israel and they can never win with God on Israel's side. Any WMD from Syria will face retaliation from Israel and this could result in their capital city being destroyed by nukes. I believe this Isaiah prophecy will come true soon and the rapture is very close, at the door. I urge all to repent and believe in Jesus before too late. I believe the rapture could happen before or close to the destruction of Damascus. This event could be the start of the 7 year tribulation or the appearance of the Antichrist. But true Christians will be out of here before the Antichrist appears. I hope I can take part in the rapture. I pray God will have mercy on me and my family. I am worried about my mother. She seems not to believe even now. My brother is post trib. But he is a true Christian so it doesn't matter as he will go up.

Jesus is coming very soon. First he will come to rapture Christians and then come again 7 years later after the tribulation. I hope everyone will take part in the rapture but they must be Christians first. It is terrible to be left behind. Even if there is no pre-trib rapture, it is tough to be a Christian in the tribulation and if you cannot be a Christian now, how more then? Be ready Christians. Watch for the first sign of His coming and I guess it might very well be the Damascus destruction in Syria. Our redemption draws nigh!

2007 Rosh Hashana Rapture Date?

I am just speculating regarding the rapture date and nobody should think that I know the date. Rosh Hashana is the beginning of the Jewish New Year and it is also a festival where the new moon is not known when to appear. Watchmen have to watch the horizon for the sign of the new moon appearing and blow the shofar so everybody would know. This is a time where nobody knows the day or hour concerning the appearing of the new moon. It is also called the Feast of Trumpets. See the coincidence? At the rapture, the trump of God will also be blown and Christians will be raptured up. Could this be the one in Feast of Trumpets? There are many good resources on the web tying the rapture to Rosh Hashana. The first four Jewish feasts were already fulfilled prophetically. The Feast of Trumpets is the next one to be prophetically fulfilled. Could this then be the rapture because the rapture is the next event on the calendar of God? We shall see and meanwhile keep watch. God bless!

Using RFID chips on fish here

They are using RFID chips on fish here to track and identify them. Yes, in Singapore. This is reminiscent of the mark of the beast when used on humans some time in the great tribulation period. People will be tracked and identified as whether they worship the Antichrist or not. They will also be able to trade and buy things if they have the mark implanted. Those who are not will be severely persecuted, even beheaded or starved to death. There is nowhere to run during the great tribulation. I pray that I can be found worthy to be raptured up. If not I pray for mercy as well as for the tribulation saints. God help us and Jesus pls come quickly to end all this satanic madness!

I wonder when will be Ezekiel 38-39?

I have been waiting for a long time for the Gog-Magog war with anticipation. I know it's sadistic to wait for war but what God says will happen because of man's rejection of Him. If only the muslims will become Christians. This war has to happen before the tribulation starts. It is a marker for the rapture also. The rapture might happen any time when the war is happening. We might get to see the war before we are raptured.

I am actually not waiting for the war but for the rapture. The war has to occur for the rapture to occur. Bcos any time around the war will be the rapture. I guess 2007-2008 might be a good year for some war to occur but it might not be Gog-Magog. Hamas is pounding Israel and Israel is fighting back. They say there might be a war during the summer of 2007. I can't wait to see what happens. Jesus pls come back quickly.

Seeing so much evil in the world

I see so much evil in the world, from corrupt governments to deaths to terrorism and so on. I thank God that I am still alive and living in S'pore. I am already 35 y.o. and although I am sadly single, I am glad and thankful that God allowed me to live up to now. Some people couldn't even reach 35 y.o. I really pray for a partner. I also pray for a job as I am jobless now. But I thank God that He supplies my needs according to His grace and mercy. Thank God for His grace upon us or we would all have perished. Though it is suffering, I suffer with the hope of Jesus coming to earth again for us all and that very soon. I pray all will believe in Jesus. I pray my relatives will believe in Jesus. I pray my friends and their families will believe in Jesus. I pray my ex-colleagues and families will believe in Jesus. I pray the whole world will believe in Jesus. It will be too late if we wait for Him to come and then we accept. There will be seven years of tribulation which are horrific. I pray all will come to Christ.

Men and women are becoming cold and evil. The world is becoming cold and dark. I pray for the light of the world Jesus to illuminate the world and fill the world. I pray for the Prince of Peace to come to enforce peace on earth or there will be no peace. I pray for Jesus to love us and fill us with His love. God doesn't want any to perish but all to repent. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. He did not come into the world to condemn the world but the world thru Him might be saved. God loves you and me. He may seem harsh but who are we to blame Him? Are we more righteous and holy than He? Have we no sin at all? We are all sinners doomed to die if not for Christ.

The rapture is a mystery

The rapture was hidden from the apostles when Jesus was around so it wasn't mentioned in the gospels but only alluded to. It was revealed to Paul when Jesus was resurrected. Paul said it was a mystery that not all will die but some will be raptured. A careful and diligent search of the bible will prove that pre-trib rapture is supported and many will be left behind to face tribulation. These are those who haven't accepted Jesus as their Saviour. It is still debatable whether all or only some Christians will go up. I tend to believe all irregardless of stage of maturity will go up. But some tend to think that those lukewarm will be left behind. But if so, why Jesus also say He will rather them be hot or COLD? This is not refering to cold Christians but refering to the quality of the water that flowed into Laodicea. Bcos Laodicea had no hot springs, it had to drain the hot water from a distance and when the water reached the city, it had turned lukewarm which was useless. So similarly I think He wasn't talking about lukewarm Christians but about non believers in modern day churches who haven't repented but trust in riches. He wanted them to repent but Christians have already repented when they believed in Jesus. So don't feel condemned. But to play safe, pls live a sanctified life as much as possible so there won't be a chance of you being left behind. Seek God while He may be found. The night is coming where no man can work.

2007 Pentecost Rapture?

Does this year portent big things to come? Will the rapture happen this year? Will it happen on Pentecost the birthday of the church? I think the rapture could happen on a Pentecost bcos the day for the birth of the church is also the day when the church is ended. Many people say it's the feast of trumpets, which is also likely, but this feast could be when Jesus comes again a second time to reveal himself. Then comes Day of Atonement when the Jews will mourn for Him. Then comes Feast of Tebernacles where Jesus sets up His kingdom here on earth forever. But I am just not sure bcos I don't know much about the Jewish feasts. And the rapture timing is unknown to all men. But this year 2007 is very likely for the rapture. It's 40 yrs after the capture of Jerusalem - a whole generation. I don't see how God could drag any further except for His mercy. I am really watching this year. Many signs are already there. I will be praying in the National Stadium come Pentecost 2007 on the Global Day of Prayer and I hope I can make it to heaven.

Virginia Tech Massacre

Hello everybody. I took a long long break and many must be thinking what happened to this blogger. Well, I am back and I hope to provide better articles and news.

Regarding the Virginia Tech massacre (well i am a bit late here), I feel sympathy for those killed and their families. But I also feel sympathy for the killer Cho. He could have looked to God for help instead of avenging himself or going crazy. Well, I heard God isn't allowed on US campuses and so is Jesus. He is the Prince of Peace and if He isn't allowed, how can there be peace? The fear of God is no longer in schools across America. But Singapore isn't much better. Besides some mission schools where they hold chapels and devotions and preach the gospel, most campuses are secular. I wonder will we go the way of USA? Already we are seeing a spike in mental cases here, esp depression among the young.

I wonder how long more before Jesus raptures us up? The world isn't getting better as some presume but getting more evil by the hour. People killing other people and killing themselves in the process and some of these murder-suicide is done in the name of "God". I deplore these acts of cowardice and terror. They are going to hell not heaven. The way to heaven is narrow but the road to hell is broad. I urge all to repent and believe in Jesus. He is the only way, truth and life.

A science student in Kentucky says when the Bible records God spoke, and things were created, that's just what happened, and he can support that with scientific experiments.

"If God spoke everything into existence as the Genesis record proposes, then we should be able to scientifically prove that the construction of everything in the universe begins with a) the Holy Spirit (magnetic field); b) Light (an electric field); and c) that Light can be created by a sonic influence or sound," Samuel J. Personal note: Sadly even with all these scientific proofs of God indirectly, many people will still scoff at them and not believe in God, as evidenced by some of his professors. But I pray some will come to believe in God and Jesus. I thank God for all these scientists who are God-fearing and doing excellent scientific work proving God indirectly or directly. God is great and He created everything with His voice. All glory to Him! May God produce more evidences of His existence. But there are already countless evidences from the universe and stars. They show the glory of God in the heavens. No one is excusable then when one rejects God seeing His glory and creation in the heavens and earth even if one hasn't read the bible. I pray all will come to Christ before too late. Time is running out for us. The rapture is coming and after that the Second Coming.

This Week In Mid-East Prophecy

With so much news from the Middle East this past week, we're going to delay publication of the next chapter of our commentary on the Book of Romans to bring you a prophetic perspective of current events. First, a quick review.

Russia-Iran Connection

The Russian sale of anti-missile batteries to Iran was completed this week, enabling Iran to protect its nuclear installations from attack. In addition, it's been reported that the promised delivery of fuel rods for the Bushier reactor, which Russia had delayed, is back on the schedule again for sometime in 2007.

North Korea-Iran Connection

Iranian scientists, having been present at North Korea's nuclear test site are now hosting their North Korean counterparts in Iran. Their purpose? North Korea is helping Iran prepare to conduct its first test before the end of 2007. If successful this will dramatically alter estimates of Iran's progress toward full nuclear capability. As I've reported before, North Korea is really acting on behalf of Russia and China. Both countries stand to gain substantially through this, oil and gas for China, influence in the region for Russia, cash for both.

Iran Threatens US

Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed this week to hit back at US interests world wide if Iran is attacked. Another high-ranking Iranian Ayatollah said that being surrounded by US troops "works to our advantage. It means that the US is now within our firing range in the East, West, and elsewhere." The US has to be taken out of the picture before Iran can make good on its pledge to wipe Israel off the map. To this end Iran has mounted attacks against the US monetary system, is involved behind the scenes in Iraq, and claims to have sleeper cells in the US ready to launch terror attacks against the infrastructure and even civilian population centers.

Hamas Fatah Unity Government

Hamas and Fatah have been convinced to agree on a unity government for the Palestinians. Saudi Arabian King Abdullah negotiated the agreement, strongly advising the US and Europe to go along even though it doesn't obligate Hamas to renounce terrorism, recognize Israel, or abide by prior PLO agreements with Israel. King Abdullah further said that if the West doesn't resume aid to the Palestinian Authority now, Saudi Arabia will pick up the tab itself, effectively undercutting Western influence.

Hamas seems to have gained the upper hand in the agreement. There are early concerns that Fatah, which is seen by the West as being more moderate and therefore preferable, may be seeking accommodation with hard-line Hamas, which is aligned with Iran. If so, it will give Iran a position in Israel's south similar to the one they enjoy in the North with Hizbollah. Iran has placed 4000 rockets in the South with Hamas and 3-4 times that many in the North with Hizbollah, all pointed at Israeli population centers. It appears that the real driving force behind forming a Palestinian unity government may be to make final preparations for war with Israel.

Lebanese Firing On Israel's Border. Russian Spotters?

After Hizbollah planted some major explosives along the Lebanese border with Israel, the IDF went into the buffer zone between the two countries to remove them. The Lebanese Army began firing. Israel returned fire, and the UN forces stepped in. Russian intelligence has all but taken over the town of Sidon in Southern Lebanon and advises Hizbollah, Lebanon, Syria and Iran on IDF troop movements in the north. Many qualified observers expect the Israel-Lebanon war to flare up again as early as this spring. Both Syria and Russia appear ready to take part. Iran will likely rely on Hizbollah for now.

Islam Demands That Israel Stop Repairing Gate To Temple Mount

Threatening an intifada worse than the one begun in 2000, Islamic national and religious leaders have demanded that Israel be forced to stop repairing the temporary footbridge leading to the Western Wall Plaza. This footbridge is Israel's only self controlled access to the Temple area and Moslems have been waiting for years for it to collapse so they can shut the Jews completely out. While there's no work being done within 50 yards of the Temple Mount, Moslem officials have accused the Jews of destroying two rooms of the Al Aksa Mosque to make way for a new Jewish Temple. The rhetoric coming from the Islamic world is strikingly similar to that which preceded the last intifada, as are the behind the scenes preparations.

Perspective

Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. (Ezekiel 38:7) This verse is a direct command to Russia and the Moslem Coalition from the Lord Himself. For students of Ezekiel 38-39 the purpose behind Russia and Iran's involvement in these recent events is clear. They're working feverishly to prepare themselves and those allied with them for a future attack on Israel. Russia has sold air defense systems and anti-tank weaponry to Syria as well as Iran and runs a state-of-the-art intelligence gathering service from Lebanon. And we already know about Russia's plans to build a deep-water port in northern Syria and re-locate a portion of its Naval fleet to the Mediterranean.

Iran has re-armed Hizbollah and is consolidating its power in Gaza. It plans a nuclear test before year end. Iranian involvement in Iraq is becoming the world's worst kept secret. Joint US-Iraqi action beginning this week in Baghdad is intended to disrupt Iran's flow of men and weaponry to terrorist groups there. The addition of another US Carrier Attack Group to the Persian Gulf is for the purpose of patrolling the Iran-Iraq border from the air and disrupting cross border traffic. President Bush has authorized US troops to kill or capture any Iranian combatants they encounter.

Clearly Russia and Iran are obeying a call from the Lord they don't acknowledge, as He sets them up against His people. His purpose is to defeat them so completely that Israel and all the world will recognize that it was He Who did this. "I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the punishment I inflict and the hand I lay upon them. From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God." (Ezekiel 39:21-22)

This will be Israel's wake up call, the unmistakable sign that the long night of their diaspora (scattering) is over. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind. (Ezek 39:28)

This supernatural victory will result in a national demand for a Jewish Temple. Without one they can't properly worship the God Who didn't abandoned them after all, but will have come to their rescue in the time of their most desperate need. As Jews from all over the world stream into Israel, the thing they'll want first is a way to acknowledge their God according to the Jewish religion. And as the treaty that permits the Temple's construction is put into force, Daniel's 70th Week will have begun.

Two Stops Earlier

A man on a bus asked the one seated next to him which stop he should get off at to reach his destination. After determining where the man lived, the seatmate replied, "It's two stops before mine. So when you see me get off, you should have gotten off two stops earlier." That sums up our interest in the End Times Scenario. When Daniels' 70th Week begins it means that Israel will have officially returned to their covenant relationship with God. Otherwise they would neither need nor want a Temple.When they return to their covenant relationship, it means that the Battle of Ezekiel 38 will have been won. Otherwise they wouldn't be in covenant with Him again.

And that means that the Age of the Church will have ended and the Church will be gone. Otherwise God wouldn't have turned His attention back to Israel. Acts 15:13-16 tells us that after the Lord has taken a people for Himself from among the Gentiles, He'll return to rebuild David's fallen Tabernacle (the Temple). And Paul wrote that Israel's heart will be hardened against God until the full number of Gentiles has come in. (Romans 11:25) You see, we'll be getting off two stops earlier. You can almost hear the footsteps of the Messiah. 02-10-07
